We have finally come up for air, looked around and realized we are not a start up anymore. We have turned the ripe old...
We are disciples of design, stewards of natural resources, creators of community, embracers of culture and advocates for a more sustainable future.
We approach our work as a collaborative effort, drawing on highly skilled professional architects, engineers, planners and ecologists with exceptional academic and professional credentials to execute and deliver projects in the Carolinas.
We strive daily to enhance and strengthen the human relationship with our natural and built environments. We measure our success by producing lasting, positive community and environmental impact.
Dan Dodd, RLA
Meet Dan, a registered landscape architect, park and greenway enthusiast, Penn State and Clemson grad and principal of the studio. Dan is passionate about thoughtful, functional spaces with lasting impact. A true advocate for the profession, he is a landscape architecture leader and incurable optimist. He believes the places we live and work in can be better and is determined to change the world around him, one project at a time.
Matt Roper, PE
Meet Matt, an independent civil engineering consultant and voice of reason on many Dodd Studio projects. Believing that one civil engineering degree just isn’t enough, he went out and got a second just to be sure. His meticulous, detail-oriented approach adds tremendous value to our work. He’s the guy that sincerely worries about where raindrops will go after they fall on your project site. In a good way.
Mandy Mooney, RLA
Meet Mandy, our Atlanta-based landscape architect and urban planning consultant. A graduate of both the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech, she blends impeccable technical skills with innate, un-taught creativity and resourcefulness. A tireless producer, she is always busy and, thankfully, is often busy with us.
Doug Wenger, RLA, DBIA, LEED-AP
Meet Doug, a multi-talented designer, educator and frequent Dodd Studio collaborator. Doug knows LEED, Doug knows construction and Doug knows how to get things done. He often smells like AD markers and coffee.
Nick Roark, Ecologist
Meet Nick, founder of Ecological Associates and a recognized expert on natural, cultural and environmental resource management and planning. When he’s not wandering around his soggy wilderness paradise on the Black River, Nick provides exclusive consulting services through The Dodd Studio to help our clients better understand the environmental parameters of their project.
