We are disciples of design, stewards of natural resources, creators of community, embracers of culture and advocates for a more sustainable future.

We approach our work as a collaborative effort, drawing on highly skilled architects, engineers, planners and ecologists with exceptional academic and professional credentials to execute and deliver projects in the Carolinas.

A blend of art and science, landscape architecture is concerned with shaping outdoor spaces and creating meaningful, sustainable relationships between built environments and the natural systems that surround them.

The Team

Dan Dodd, PLA

Dan Dodd, PLA

Meet Dan, a professionally licensed landscape architect, park and greenway enthusiast, and principal of the studio. Dan is passionate about thoughtful, functional spaces with lasting impact. A true advocate for the profession, he believes the places we live and work in can be better and is determined to make positive change one project at a time.

Matt Roper, PE

Matt Roper, PE

Meet Matt, an independent civil engineering consultant and voice of reason on many Dodd Studio projects. Believing that one civil engineering degree just isn’t enough, he went out and got a second just to be sure. His meticulous, detail-oriented approach adds tremendous value to our work. He’s the guy that sincerely worries about where raindrops will go after they fall on your project site. In a good way.

Anna Simpson

Anna Simpson

Meet Anna, our urban planner, outdoor adventure seeker and fitness aficionada. Although a Tarheel at heart, Anna is a Clemson city and regional planning graduate dedicated to creating meaningful places that engage diverse audiences, promote community health and wellness, and leave a lasting social, economic and environmental impact.

Brandon Green

Brandon Green

Meet Brandon, graduate of the landscape architecture program at Clemson University and lover of hybrid bermuda grass. Brandon is an avid outdoorsman. You can often find him spending his weekends on a forested trail or at a tailgate.   As a designer, Brandon's professional goal is to blend his design ability and turf grass wisdom to help develop premier athletic facilities.
